Completing the online candidate application is just a first step.
To officially be nominated as a candidate, you must complete these additional steps.
Upload a Candidate Photo
Submit a digital headshot of yourself. If you need a photo, contact communications@hgea.org and we can arrange to have your photo taken in one of our island division offices.
Download and Print Your Application Materials
After completing your online candidate application (Candidate Questionnaire, Information for Union Publications and Website, Candidate Background Information), download these materials.
Gather Your Nomination Petition Signatures
Use the Nomination Signature Petition on pages 4 and 5 to gather signatures of at least 15 active members.
Submit to HGEA Office
Return all the signed forms to your local HGEA office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025.
