Eden Keolani Stewart, Unit 13 member and external affairs section chief for the Maui Emergency Management Agency, was recently crowned Mrs. Hawaii America 2026.
Stewart has spent two decades building up career experience in communications, public relations, community engagement and leadership. Her path to the crown also includes community service work following the devastating Lahaina wildfires. She dedicated 10 months to relief work with the American Red Cross and now manages Rebuild Hope, a grant program to support Maui fire survivors.
“The strength and resilience I have witnessed in my community have forever changed me and deepened my commitment to serving others,” Stewart said to Maui News.
Moving forward, she plans to use her new platform to promote disaster and emergency preparedness.
She will go on to represent Hawaii in the national competition in September.
