FREE COVID-19 Exposure Notification App Now Available Statewide

AlohaSafe Alert, the state of Hawaii’s official COVID-19 exposure notification app, is now available to all Hawaii residents. It's a free tool to help increase detection of COVID-19, streamline contact tracing and slow the spread of the disease. Download the AlohaSafe Alert app today and help keep Hawaii safe and healthy.

Created by the Hawaii State Department of Health, aio Foundation, Hawaii Executive Collaborative and others, the AlohaSafe Alert app was first released on Lanai in November as part of a pilot program and launched for use in Maui County In December and in Hawaii County last week.

AlohaSafe Alert is private, voluntary app that protects the privacy of individuals (no personal data ever leaves the phone) unless the owner chooses to share the information with the Department of Health.
