Proposed HHSC Policy Regarding Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination for Current HHSC Employees

On August 23, HGEA was notified that HHSC has decided to join in Governor Ige’s August 5, 2021 Emergency Proclamation on COVID-19 Vaccine and Testing Requirement for State and County Employees. Included in the notice to HGEA was a copy of the proposed policy and procedures titled Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination for Current HHSC Employees. Under the proposed procedures, employees will be required to complete the HHSC COVID-19 Vaccination Attestation Form by September 7, 2021.
