Revised UH COVID-19 Interim Guidelines

On August 3, 2021, HGEA received the recently revised University’s COVID-19 Guidelines (Interim) dated August 2, 2021. According to UH, the recent revisions to the guidelines dated July 15, 2021 are primarily in two areas:

  1. Telework: With the extension of telework as an option for eligible staff, the statement that 'all employees are expected to report to their respective campus offices and resume normal operations by August 3, 2021' has been removed from the revised guidelines.
  2. Mask Wearing: Based on the updated CDC recommendation that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask in public indoor spaces and crowded outdoor settings, the guidelines have been revised accordingly.
