Temporary Hazard Pay Request

We are continuing to pursue and advocate for temporary hazard pay for all HGEA bargaining unit employees who have been required to report to work to perform essential government functions during this pandemic and since the Governor’s March 5, 2020 emergency proclamation. HGEA continues to maintain that temporary hazard pay is justified and should be granted as outlined in the HGEA collective bargaining agreements.
