American Income Life Letter

You should have received a letter from HGEA benefit partner, American Income Life (AIL), if you live on Oahu or Maui. Members who returned their beneficiary card should expect a call from an AIL insurance agent who will ask to meet with you regarding their policies and your free $4,000 accidental death and dismemberment policy. We encourage you to take advantage of the AIL policies, however you are under no obligation to meet with the insurance agent. Q. Can I name more than one beneficiary?
A. Yes! As long as it’s a person or a trust. Also can be any legal entity.
Q. How much is the additional $10,000 policy?
A. $2.00 for the first year, and $5 per year after that.
Q. I sent in the beneficiary card last time, do I have to send it in again?
A. Yes, the free policy has changed and is now a $4,000 benefit.
