HGEA comments on U.S. Rep. Mark Takai's announcement that he's not seeking re-election

On behalf of HGEA, Executive Director Randy Perreira today expressed sadness on long-time HGEA member Congressman K. Mark Takai’s announcement that he will not seek re-election this year.
“Our first concern is for Mark’s health, and we support him in this most difficult decision. I’m asking that all of our HGEA ohana send their thoughts and prayers to Mark and his family, with the hope of a speedy recovery.”
