Maui Region Transition: August 26

As you know, the State has advised HGEA that it intends to propose a settlement offer predicated on the agreement it reaches with UPW. While the State anticipated an agreement today, we have been informed that did not happen.
We have been discussions with the State this week and will continue the talks. Upon receipt of the State's proposal to HGEA, we will inform you of the terms and conditions.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to our request for feedback. Your voices are being heard and your participation demonstrates the strength we have when we stand together. Many members expressed their desire to make sure the benefits in Act 1 (Senate Bill 2077) are implemented. We will continue to advocate for you.
