New Unit 3/4 Tentative Agreement - Voting Starts Monday

UPDATE: Tuesday and Wednesday Ratification Meeting Schedules and Locations Now Posted on Members Only Section

Previous update as of 12:45 a.m. 4/27/15

As you know, last week's ratification vote for Units 3 and 4 was suspended on Thursday after another public worker union contract was announced.  Talks were then reopened with the employer and Sunday, after much discussion, there is now a slightly better tentative agreement on the table. The two-year contract covers the period effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017. Log on to the members only section of the website for details of the new proposal. Voting starts Monday, April 27.

Because there is a new tentative agreement, votes on the previous proposal will not count. It is important that you vote on the new proposal.

Again previous votes do not count.

Currently, voting locations that were previously scheduled for Monday, April 27, on Oahu and Hawaii Island are occurring as well as one location on Maui.

We are working to secure times and locations on all islands for Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29. As soon as that information is finalized it will be sent out via eBullein and posted to the members only section of the website.

Please check your eBulletin or contact your island division office for meeting site locations, dates and times.
