Contract Negotiations Update: Summary of tentative agreement

Despite media reports and information released prematurely by the employers, HGEA has yet to receive information on the manner in which jurisdictions (i.e., counties, Department of Education, University of Hawaii) other than the State of Hawaii will address the terms of this tentative agreement.
HGEA delayed release of the following summary in anticipation that the employers would provide such information. To date, that information has not been provided and there has been no understanding on how this agreement will affect employees particularly in DOE and UH. As such, the following may address only state employees of the executive branch.
