This event is open to all HGEA Kauai members and family. Competition starts on Friday, April 17 at 12 a.m. and ends on Sunday, April 19 at 11 a.m. Weigh-in will take place on April 19 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. Door prizes and a light lunch will be included there.

Tickets: 

$5 – Member child (17 & under)
$10 – Member or family adult
$10 – Associate member/family, adult or child

You must purchase a ticket by April 14 at 4:30 p.m. to enter the competition and be eligible for door prizes and lunch. Members can pick up tickets and a copy of competition rules at the HGEA Kauai office. Call (808) 245-6751 to buy your ticket.

Prize Categories:

Adults (first-third place): Ulua, Papio, Moi, Oio, and “others”
Children (first-third place for “others”/any fish): 13-17 years old and 12 & under
