HGEA Executive Director Randy Perreira to serve on the HMSA board of directors
HGEA Executive Director Randy Perreira has been selected to serve on the Hawaii Medical Services Association community board, which is comprised of 27 directors from healthcare, business, labor, government, education, clergy and the community at large. Board members serve staggered three-year terms.
“Healthcare is one of the most important and most critical issues facing Hawaii’s workers,” said Perreira. “I hear first-hand from HGEA members who tell me that they can no longer afford health insurance for themselves and their children – and it’s truly upsetting. I’m hopeful that bringing the views and concerns of Hawaii’s working families to the discussion will help address the healthcare challenges for our entire community.”
